ACASS Canada Ltd. (“ACASS”, “we”, “us”, “our”) respects your right to privacy. As such, we want to inform you of what happens to the personal information collected through our Online Recruiting platform located at www.acass.com/voyageur (the “Recruiting Platform”). For that reason, these Terms of Use for Online Recruiting (“Terms of Use”) set out the manner in which we will collect, use, disclose and manage the personal information you submit.
Collection of Personal Information
By using our Recruiting Platform, you provide us personal information such as your home address and passport information as well as information regarding your training and work experience. Data transmitted through the Recruiting Platform is encrypted through the Secure Socket Layer protocol. The Recruiting Platform has security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control.
You should be aware that the information provided on the Recruiting Platform is not, at any time, removed unless you specifically request us to do so by... In addition, you should be aware that we cannot control what third parties to whom your personal information may have been communicated for the limited purposes stated herein may do with your personal information once it has been communicated.
In addition, non-personal information may be collected automatically by our servers that relates to your use of the Recruiting Platform, such as the date and time you visit the Recruiting Platform, the type of browser you use and the name of your Internet Service Provider. We may also collect “cookie” information from your browser to identify your computer and provide us with a record of your visits to our Recruiting Platform (Collectively, the foregoing is referred to as “Usage Data”).
Use of Personal Information
The information you provide us on the Recruiting Platform is used solely for the purposes of assessing your qualifications and suitability for our potential customers and can also be communicated to our potential customers when we include you in customer proposals.
Your personal information may also be communicated to governmental and regulatory authorities when so required by law or, where we have placed you with one of our customers, for the purposes of same.
By using the Recruiting Platform and providing information about yourself, you understand and expressly consent to our use and distribution of your personal information for the limited purposes stated herein. You also consent to our updating your personal information when we are provided such information that requires it.
Security of Personal Information
We will maintain your personal information in strict confidence, and will only disclose such information on a confidential basis to employees and third-parties as set out above.
Notwithstanding the above, you should be aware that no guarantee can be provided as to the security of information transmitted over the Internet. Therefore, we do not represent, warrant or guarantee that your personal information will be protected against loss, misuse or alteration and ACASS shall not be held liable for breach of confidentiality.
Changes to Terms of Use
ACASS reserves its right to make changes to this Terms of Use at any time and without notice.

By using the Recruiting Platform, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless ACASS, its affiliates and related companies as well their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors and ayants-droit from and against any and all losses, expenses, damages, claims, fines, penalties, costs and liabilities resulting from your use of the Recruiting Platform, connection thereto, or any alleged violation by you of these Terms of Use.
Applicable Laws
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Quebec and of the laws of Canada applicable therein, and any dispute is to be submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction in the judicial District of Montreal, Province of Quebec.
